Turnbull Man of the Match for Sunderland game
By Shaun • Sep 24th, 2008 • Category: First TeamBoro Mania readers have voted Ross Turnbull their man of the match in the 2-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light. In a largely disappointing game, but one that Boro should have come away from with at least a point, young goalkeeper Turnbull shone out with a very solid performance.
A rush of blood to the head almost gifted a goal to Djibril Cisse but apart from that Turnbull was excellent and made some very good saves. Turnbull has taken his chance to shine over the last few games with Brad Jones injured and in my opinion should be our number one goalie now.
