Tuncay named Boro Mania Man of the match for Stoke game
By Shaun • Sep 8th, 2008 • Category: First TeamWe had a prolonged vote this week due to the International break but the result is in and Tuncay Sanli was voted the Boro Mania Man of the Match for the 3rd game this season (he has been MOM for all 3 Premier League games this season).

Tuncay wins again!
In what was probably his poorest showing this season this result shows how highly thought of Tuncay is at the Boro currently. My personal vote went to Alves who, even though he should have had a couple more goals, looked very sharp and dangerous. His freekick was top class and hopefully it gets his season off and running.
Tuncay too is off and running in the goals department after his winner against Stoke and he followed that up with a goal for Turkey at the weekend continuing his good start to the season.
Who got your vote?

I actually voted Huth because i thought he stood up very well to the aerial attacks and physical presence of the Stoke attacks. Not sure i agree on Tuncay like, thought he was pretty poor until he popped up with the goal.
i thought Jeremie Aliadiere had perhaps his best game in a Boro shirt! I’ve been very impressed with him so far this season, and he’s adapting to the right wing better than Dirk Kuyt does at Liverpool imo. His attitude’s been first class, and he deserved MOM.
Yeah Tom, I agree. Aliadiere is nimble enough to avoid the tackles and has the skill and the pace on the ball to take advantage of the position he’s in whether its coming inside or staying out wide. He’s made a mug a few people this season.
He’s really impressed me so far.
