Subscription Options

So, you have found our site and read some of the great articles, commented on a few stories and voted in the poll. You want to come back and check the site out in a day or two? So what are your options?

Well firstly, this site is updated regularly so if you check back everyday you will likely find something new to pique your interest. Here are a few ways in which you can stay in the loop and keep up to date:

Bookmark Us

If you still use the bookmarks facility with your web browser you can stick us in your bookmarks and check back with us regularly. Hit Ctrl+D to add us to your bookmarks.

RSS Subscription

For those of you who don’t know what RSS is or how you can use it here is a little explanation, the rest of you can skip the next couple of paragraphs.

Suppose you have 50 sites and blogs that you like to visit regularly. Going to visit each website and blog everyday could take you hours. With RSS, you can “subscribe” to a website or blog, and get “fed” all the new headlines from all of these 50 sites and blogs in one list, and see what’s going on in minutes instead of hours. What that means for BoroMania is, that everytime we publish a new article it will automatically appear in your feed reader.

Personally I use Google Reader to keep up to date with over 50 websites and find it a lifesaver. All you need to do is go to Google and sign up for an account, once you have signed up you go to “My Account” and click on “Reader”. From there you can subsribe to the BoroMania RSS feed, which is http://boromania.com/feed/.

Once you have subscribed you will begin receiving updates everytime we publish a new story.

The Boro Mania Mailing List

You can join the Boro Mania mailing list by entering your name and email address into the form on the right hand side of the site.

The mailing list is different to the RSS feed in that we won’t be sending you updates everytime we publish something new but we will send you a regular newsletter outlining the best posts of recent weeks, future site developments, competitions etc.
