Loan Watch - Craddock on scoresheet as McMahon sees red
By Shaun • Oct 22nd, 2008 • Category: Boro NewsBoro striker Tom Craddock was the toast of Luton Town last night as his late strike earned a point for the League Two side. Craddock, who had been in excellent form for Boro's reserves prior to leaving on loan, bagged his first two goals for Luton against Grimsby.
Luton twice had to come from behind and after conceding a goal to Ryan Bore, Craddock outpaced Bennett and was then brought down by goalkeeper Phil Barnes. Craddock got up to fire home the penalty. Luton fell behind again and just when it looked like they would leave empty handed Craddock picked the ball up on the right and cut inside before firing a tremendous shot with his left foot into the bottom corner.
Tony McMahon's night was not as pleasing however as he was sent off for a rash challenge in Sheffield Wednesday's game with Barnsley. McMahon has been getting a lot of praise from Owl's fans recently but he will now face a 3 game ban following the straight red card.

Well done to Craddock. I like the lad but i don’t think hes good enough to be a starter for Boro. I’d like to see him prove himself at Luton and return with a few chances for us just to make sure.
If not then he’ll definately make a very good League One striker.
