How can we improve Boro Mania?
By Shaun • Oct 10th, 2008 • Category: Site NewsWe have had a number of suggestions from you, the users, on how we can improve this site and keep you all coming back and now that the site is nearing it’s 3 month birthday (how time flies!) I thought it only right to open up the suggestions for everyone.
In our quest to have the number 1 Boro related site on the net we want to do everything we can to improve the site so using the comment form below let us know what you would like to see in the future on BoroMania. Here are a few suggestions we’ve already had, let us know if you like or dislike any of them:
- Forum/messageboard - We’ve had a lot of people asking for a forum, if we get enough interest I will get things moving on this.
- Boro desktop wallpapers
- More info on the academy/reserves

The forum is a great idea if there will be enough activity, lots of Boro forums but only a few with any real users. Has it only been 3 months? I thought this site had been up a while? Congrats and keep up the good work
I’d like to see a few more writers added, I like the stuff you and Ross put up but it would be good to have a few more. Not volunteering like, i couldnt write to save my life!

I’m gonna look into the forum, but it’s not worth it if there’s not enough interest, so anyone who would be interested let us know in the comments.
I’d love to add more writers Mal, but it’s a bit tricky finding any at the moment!, still trying though.

The thing about forums is if there arent any initial posters, people will go on and not even bother registering because they’re dead.
imho, what we’d need is a good starting base of founder members whp post regularly so any person wandering through would see an active forum and want to participate.
Yeah thats my main concern with starting up the forum, that there will not be enough activity and it will die off very quickly. If there is enough interest to get a core group together to start it off with posts and discussions then it has a chance.
just attract boro fans from sky sports, bbc forums im sure they would love a boro forum withhout g

i’ve been a member of a few forums but never stick with them because they always end up talking more about crap than football. Or they get invaded by fans of other teams and they just become slanging matches
