Middlesbrough predict a bright future ahead for Jason Steele, an England youth international goalkeeper hailing from Newton Aycliffe.

Jordan Robinson is a 17-year-old central defender from Yarm currently playing for Middlesbrough FC’s academy team.

James Cronesberry (known as Jamma) is a young midfielder player, predominantly used as a wide player so far in his Boro career, who has been catching the eye for the Academy and in brief appearances for the reserves.

Josh Walker is a versatile defensive midfielder, he has captained England at U16, U17 and U18 levels.

Nathan Porritt is a young winger/forward who shot to fame a few years ago at the centre of a “tapping up” scandal shown on BBC’s Panorama programme. Now, at 18, he is a regular for the reserves and has appeared on the Boro bench already this season.
