Middlesbrough romped to a 5-0 victory over Scottish Second Division side Dumbarton with England under-21 winger Adam Johnson scoring the pick of the goals.

We caught up with ED from United Rant for a quick fire interview ahead of the crunch game between Middlesbrough and Manchester United at the Riverside Stadium.

Middlesbrough travelled to the KC Stadium in a hope to continue their recent run of good away form. Bad luck, shocking decisions from the officials and a lot of naivety and inexperience costing Boro dearly.

Hull vs Boro… While not a derby in the local geographical sense, this is still a fixture Boro fans will feel some added grudge. I, personally, have been looking forward to this game all season.

Middlesbrough reverted to their old ways at the Riverside, going down 3-1 to Bolton Wanderers. After 2 good away performances picking up 4 points from a possible 6 against two good teams, Middlesbrough returned to the Riverside Stadium for what most fans would label a “winnable” game. Typical Boro, they wasted the chance to move into the top six and capitulated in the first ten minutes, gifting the 3 points to a very average Bolton team.

Boro are starting to look strong after a September full of defeats, infact since october… we’ve only lost one game, making that one defeat out of seven matches and five games unbeaten in total. Arguably an excellent return, but it’s still leaving Boro fans wondering if we could have had more points on the table.

Middlesbrough extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to five games following a strong, battling performance at Goodison Park.

It’s another Sunday kick off for the Boro, in a difficult game which we’ll be hoping to see atleast a point dropped in the hat to add to this season’s tally.

The newly rich, Manchester City, travel to the Riverside Stadium tonight with memories still fresh in the mind from their last visit. On that day, the final day of the last Premiership campaign, Boro thrashed city 8-1 with Afonso Alves grabbing a hat-trick
