Afonso Alves heading to Arabia?

Boro are believed to have already rejected a bid of £3million earlier this summer, and now if rumours are to be believed, Boro have been subject to an undisclosed bid from Saudi outfit Al Ahli.
Other clubs are mooted to show an interest, but it's Al Ahli that would be able to offer the more lucrative terms, given his largely unsuccessful time on Teesside and other major clubs in Europe reluctant to spend money on a player who could be past his best already.
Boro are unlikely to recoup a large portion of the £12million or so shelled out, with a fee in the region of £4-5million more than likely being put on offer.
